Meeting Rm 1, Trades Hall
(cnr Victoria & Lygon sts Carlton)
Message from the Climate Emergency Network (CEN):
Tony Abbott has called climate change "absolute crap", and Julia Gillard wants to delay substantial action. But climate change and the need to cut emissions remain pressing issues. The conference aims to discuss and clarify a number of important questions. How can workers, their unions and the climate movement work together in the best interest of workers and the climate? What are the implications for jobs? What should Government do and how can we get them to act?
Conference entry via gold coin donation, for more info or to register contact Chris Breen 0403 013 183 or Bronwyn Halfpenny 0413 749 972. Please let us know you are coming, so we have an idea of numbers.
