Update 18 July

Just to recap on where we're at and what people put their hands up to do
and so on:

Funding

Dan has been in touch with OEP who may be able to help us out with some
money. We don't have an actual budget but we've informally decided that
$500 should cover it.

Sally tells us that UMPA is likely to be able to help us out too,
although their budget is limited. They can provide in-kind support with
such things as printing, photocopying, binding, etc.

Time & Venue

No change really, we're still looking at Gryphon Gallery.

However, as Steven is running an UMPA visit to CERES the same day it was
thought that there might be a way to link the events. Christina
suggested some Green Drinks/Dinner in between. That sounds like a good
plan to me, although I'd go with dinner rather than drinks so that
people are still able to cope with a workshop later.

What do people think about bringing the workshop forward a bit, as the
CERES visit finishes at 4pm.

Speakers

Dan says that Tony Overman is happy to facilitate.

Christina was going to look into finding a speaker from the corporate
world. Any update?

Miki was going to contact Sara Bekessey. Any update?

Noone was assigned to suggest a Melbourne Uni speaker. Any volunteers?
I guess I could do it, but I'm a bit concerned that I might not be
well-liked in EHS circles. Still a bit of diplomacy might work miracles.

Advertising

The flyer... Christina?

Oli (can't remember who that is but Miki was going to contact him/her).

Publications? Anyone know anything about deadlines for Farrago,
GradFlash, Staffnews? We really need to get onto these if we're not
going to miss the boat. Any volunteers?

Other stuff

Any ideas? This is the first time I've organised anything like this so
I fully expect to forget some really important things. That's where I
need other people to remind me.
